The BlackVue DR590X-1 Channel Dash Cam with 32GB microSD Card is a high-performance Full HD dash cam with an ultra-wide 139° viewing angle, Wi-Fi connectivity and excellent low-light performance. The DR590X-1CH boasts Full HD 1080p resolution and smooth 60 frames per second (fps) video quality. It is equipped with Sony’s premium STARVIS image sensor, providing outstanding performance in low-light conditions. Additionally, a Night Vision feature further enhances details in dark environments, where it matters most.

Thanks to the BlackVue app and the inclusion of Wi-Fi functionality, connecting to the DR590X-1CH from a smartphone or tablet is simple, making setup and accessing video files an easy process. Video footage can also be viewed on any Windows PC or Apple Mac computer using the supplied BlackVue Viewer application. Lastly the DR590X-1CH’s compact form factor, stealth styling and discreet mounting position behind the rear view mirror, meaning it’s barely noticeable from outside of the vehicle. With Full HD 1080P performance, the DR590X-1CH provides class-leading protection for your vehicle by recording fluid 60 frames per second video footage via an ultra-wide lens with a 139° viewing angle. A Sony STARVIS image sensor ensures the best possible image quality under any lighting conditions. GPS logging is available as a plug-in option.

Intelligent Parking Mode

BlackVue’s unique Intelligent Parking Mode is ideal if you worry about hit-and-runs, theft or vandalism while your vehicle is parked and left unattended.

The DR590X-1 Channel automatically switches to Parking Mode when the ignition is switched off, and will continue to monitor your vehicle, recording and storing events for review later – or alerting you in real time via the BlackVue App. Video buffering ensures that your camera will also record the seconds leading up to the event, ensuring you have the whole picture. Thanks to in-built power management circuitry, the DR590X-1CH will ensure that your camera will never deplete your vehicle’s battery when operating overnight, switching-off should the car’s battery level drop below a pre-set level.

For extended recording times simply add a BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery B-124X. Motion and Impact detection mode uses your cameras image sensor to detect movement, and the inbuilt accelerometer/G-sensor to detect bumps or impacts. To reduce the number of unwanted recordings triggered by motion and movement, the DR590X-1 Channel can specify areas to ignore, eliminating recordings triggered by things like swaying trees, far-away moving objects, etc.

BlackVue App & Viewer

The BlackVue app for iOS and Android is free to download and use and allows you to conveniently control your dash cam from your smartphone. Access your camera’s configuration settings, video files and use camera Live View for easy set-up and positioning of the DR590X-1CH in your vehicle.  BlackVue Viewer for Windows and Apple Mac is free to download and allows you too easily configure your camera’s settings and view video clips.

Access recordings on your camera’s microSD card, simultaneously viewing front and rear camera footage, moving maps and GPS data (if optional GPS module is connected) including time, date and speed. All video clips are listed by date, time and recording mode (Normal, Parking, Event, etc.), making it simple to quickly identify and archive important footage. BlackVue Viewer also provides access to your camera’s settings, as well as the ability to update your dashcam’s firmware when necessary.
