The D977 has an improved aerodynamic outer shell along with a more efficient venting system for greater internal airflow.  The EPS shell now is a multi-density unit providing improved energy transfer during any impact and along with its protective characteristics over the lifetime of the helmet.
The D977 also has a 3D optically correct visor for improved vision and clarity along with a new quick-release system.
